BASECAMP Announces Long-Awaited Sophomore Project
Denver, CO; Detroit, MI – “Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth. As you sent me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. I sanctify myself for them, so that they also may be sanctified by the truth.” [John 17:17-19]
BASECAMP kicks the doors wide open with the Gospel delivered without sacrificing artistry.
“Nothing is more beautiful than the truth of God.” – BASECAMP
Procyse (CO) and Rich Colón (MI) raised plenty of eyebrows with the release of their debut project, First and Four (2023), as they demonstrated that you can be gritty lyrically without sacrificing holiness.
Two years later, the growth is apparent regarding both the duo’s musical abilities and the maturation of their faith. Look no further for evidence than their sophomore project, Beautiful Like the Truth.
Featuring the critically acclaimed singles “Lord’s Day” and “Under the Blood”, Beautiful Like the Truth is a seven-song body of work that finds Pro and Rich pushing their own boundaries for the sake of the good news of Jesus Christ. The result is one of the year’s boldest works in the Christian hip-hop genre.
Beautiful Like the Truth hits digital streaming platforms on October 3, 2025.
With production courtesy of Brokenfinga, Beautiful Like the Truth is a seamless and cohesive project from start to finish. The duo intentionally limited the project’s features (Knaladeus, YP aka Young Paul, and DJ Radiohead) for the sake of consistency and the bigger message. It is truly a project that is driven by purpose. This is not your watered-down CHH and is not for the weak of spirit. It is a release meant to challenge, convict, and embolden those who claim their identity is rooted in Christ. The Word is truth, and truth is beautiful.
What will be your favorite records from the project? Don’t forget to add them to your playlist on your favorite music streaming service!
