Why 40 for the album?

BRM answers his question by saying, “well in June I turned 40 Years old, which in this day and age I’m blessed to even be here.”

Life has definitely been a journey for BRM. So many difficulties in navigating the trials he faced in his life that I believe if we are honest, we all go through.

This lead BRM to look more into the number 40. What he found through his research is that 40 symbolized a period of testing, trial, or probation in the Bible.

During Moses’ life, he lived forty years in Egypt and forty years in the desert before God selected him to lead his people out of slavery.

The punishment for the children of Israel was they by wandered in the wilderness for 40 years. BRM stated he could relate to this because sometimes in his life he had been wandering.

BRM said, “this album has some real honest and reflective songs on it. As always, I have some fun with the music, but in the last couple of years I have examined my purpose, checking my why, and seeking GOD even when things have been hard.”

BRM was happy with the way the 40 album turned out and he prayed the listener will enjoy it and his hope is it resonates with us.
