The husband-and-wife Christian Hip Hop duo use this 12-track project to speak about surrender, prayer, purpose, spiritual warfare, perseverance, and the urgency of giving your life to Jesus Christ. The album does not feel like a project trying to chase trends. It feels like two artists using their gifts to point listeners back to God.

CHH JAY shared with TBK247 that Far Better Entertainment is the company he and his wife built together. Their mission is spreading the Gospel through Christian Hip Hop, and that mission comes through clearly on Have Your Way.

One of the first songs that grabbed our attention was “Shine.” Cryzm talks about wanting what is hers, but only if the Lord allows it. She follows that thought by showing confidence that comes through submission to the Father.

That is the kind of message believers need. We all have dreams. We all want open doors. But surrender asks a harder question: are we willing to walk away from something we want if it is not God’s will?

CHH JAY builds from another angle by speaking about God’s favor, blessings he does not deserve, and God turning pain into purpose. The song keeps pointing back to grace instead of self.

That line from “Chasin’ Wind” stuck with us. We spend so much time chasing money, status, and the next opportunity, but none of those things can buy more time. Ecclesiastes reminds us that death comes to every person. The question is not how much we gained here. The question is whether we are ready for eternity.

“Give Ya Life” carries that same urgency. The call to give your life to the King before it is too late feels like one of the album’s clearest moments. It is not just a song. It is a warning and an invitation.
