Christian Media Weekly August 7 2026 Releases: Writer’s Perspective

I Planted God Grew It cover art inspired by 1 Corinthians 3:6-7

I Planted. God Grew It.

Sometimes parents spend years planting truth into their children without knowing whether any of it took root.

Daryl Ty’s Writer’s Perspective begins with watching his 17-year-old twins begin choosing to spend more time together. For years, he had reminded his son to look out for his sister and reminded both children that there would come a day when their parents would not be standing between them and the world.

“You can teach. You can model. You can correct. You can plant. You can water. Then you have to let God work where you can’t reach.”

This summer, the twins began shopping together, hanging out and choosing each other’s company without being pushed into it.

“I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth. So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth.” 1 Corinthians 3:6–7 ESV

The lesson reaches beyond parenting. Writers plant. Artists plant. Friends plant. Somebody else may water. None of them can manufacture the growth.

MotionPlus & Braille — Broken Vessels

MotionPlus and Braille follow “Overdue” with another single ahead of their collaborative Still Dreamin’ EP.

“Broken Vessels” speaks directly to inadequacy, uncertainty about the future and the feeling that broken pieces may no longer have purpose.

“Even at your most broken, God can bring you peace.” — MotionPlus

Braille handles the production while both veteran emcees bring a lyric-centered approach rooted in boom-bap.

Adriel Cruz — I Don’t Know About You

Adriel Cruz offers an honest look at finding worth beyond rejection on “I Don’t Know About You.”

Written from the perspective of carrying hidden pain after close friends leave, the song centers on the admission, “I’m not alright.”

Ethereal synths and a melodic chorus support a message about refusing to build identity around how other people see you.

Drea LP pairs feel-good pop melodies with a soulful R&B groove, encouraging listeners not to remain trapped inside yesterday’s problems.

Solachi Voz — ABBA

On “ABBA,” Solachi Voz reflects on moving away from treating faith as a transactional resource and instead receiving it as a foundation.

The record connects identity, safety and stability with deeper spiritual relationship rather than external validation.

Bass-heavy hip-hop production gives the record confidence while leaving space for its reflective center.

Faithfulness Before Results

The Christian Media Weekly August 7 2026 releases may come from different artists and different experiences, but similar questions keep showing up.

What defines us when relationships change? What happens when life feels broken? How much control should our thoughts have over our peace? Are we seeking God for what He can provide or learning to know Him as Father?

I Planted. God Grew It. brings those questions into family life. MotionPlus and Braille bring them into brokenness. Adriel Cruz brings them into rejection. Drea LP & OnBeatMusic bring them into the mind. Solachi Voz brings them into relationship with God.

Different stories. Different sounds. The same need to place identity, peace and trust somewhere deeper than circumstances.

TBK247 will continue covering Christian music, books, stories, podcasts and culture with faith, family, redemption and real life at the center.
