B. Cooper’s “Driver’s Seat” focuses on a tension most believers understand—control versus trust. The record moves from striving and burnout into surrender, using everyday imagery to show that letting go is not weakness, it is freedom.
The message is grounded:
- control leads to pressure
- pressure leads to burnout
- surrender leads to peace
This is a strong Kingdom Spotlight because it speaks directly to real life. It reframes success, rest, and identity through obedience and trust in God.

✍🏾 Writer’s Perspective

If the Cross Was Friday, the Resurrection Changed Everything by Monday
A lot of people treat Easter like a moment.
For Christians, it’s the foundation.
If Jesus only died, we have a story.
If He only suffered, we have an example.
But if He died, was buried, and rose again—everything changes.
Good Friday shows the cost of sin.
Saturday reminds us the story isn’t over.
Sunday declares victory.
And by Monday, it wasn’t just emotion anymore.
There were witnesses.
“And if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is in vain and your faith is in vain.” — 1 Corinthians 15:14 (ESV)
That means this isn’t a side belief.
It’s everything.
If Jesus rose, then sin doesn’t win.
Death doesn’t win.
The grave doesn’t get the final word.
And that changes how we see:
- our past
- our pain
- our future
Because the resurrection doesn’t pretend things didn’t die.
It raises what looked finished.
I write for the people who may not make it to the pews on Sunday.
