CZAR Josh Release Black History Single and Drops NFT Sneaker Collection

CZAR Josh ends Black History Month by releasing a new track, “Black History Ain’t History.”

The Phinestro-produced track is LoFi, Pro-Black, “edutainment” Black History Month themed song celebrating the accomplishments of Black Americans.

“Black History Ain’t History” showcases the rise of black women and black creatives in current times.

CZAR Josh urges the listener to understand that “Black History isn’t history, it’s current events” as he dropped his first taste of music in 2022.

“I wanted to provide music that can uplift and educate people that look like me on Black History while also showing them that they are currently living in Black History. Black people are doing great things daily and that should be celebrated,” said CZAR Josh.

CZAR Josh has partnered with black-owned businesses, Blackwater Branding and Nappy Avenue, to highlight other black entrepreneurs over the course of the month. CZAR is also partnering with OpenSea to do a NFT shoe collection drop inspired by the song.

CZAR Josh states, “The concept behind the “Black History Ain’t History” NFT shoe collection is one that couples relevant Black American history figures and stories, with popular shoe culture, also largely popularized by Black culture. Each individual NFT features a popular shoe in basketball and urbanwear culture, with a design that tells the story of a relevant figure or story in Black History that still affects today’s racial climate.”
