Dedge P was raised by a single mother of five in the Crenshaw District in South Central Los Angeles. His father was beaten by the police whom eventually succumbed to his injuries when Dedge P was only 9 years old.
In 2003 Dedge P decided endorse the gospel of Jesus Christ. He formed the gospel production/record company called NuffSaid Music which successfully released two mixtapes entitled “DA FREE MIXTAPE VOL.1″ and ” THA TAKEOVER… THA FREEMIXTAPE VOL. 2 (tripe CD)” .
