DJ Mykal from indie tribe speaks to Mitch Darrell abut diss tracks in Christian hip hop.
DJ Mykal, tells Mitch Darrell “Diss Tracks Do Not Belong In Christian Hip Hop and there is no room for it!”
DJ Mykal V is honest and admits he is not a fan of diss tracks; and to be honest we are not either. We at theBookkeeper247 think they’re unnecessary and they don’t belong in Christian hip hop. There’s no room for them.
Christian hip hop is supposed to be about uplifting and encouraging each other, not tearing each other down. Christian hip hop is about pointing the lost to Jesus Christ So diss tracks just don’t fit in our genre.
Plus, they’re not even that good. Most of them are just petty and childish. So why bother?
If you ask us, Christian hip hop would be better off without diss tracks. Let’s keep the focus on positive, uplifting, encouraging music that brings us all together and navigates the lost to Jesus.
