Dre’ Jamal Shares “Better Half,” a Kingdom Spotlight for Married Couples

A Christian Hip Hop Record Centered on Covenant and Commitment

“Better Half” is a Christian hip hop single created specifically for married and committed couples. Dre’ Jamal is clear about the audience for this record—this is not a song aimed at the single or still-searching crowd, but one that speaks directly to relationships that have stood the test of time and still have more ahead.

The song features a graceful introduction from Tina Songbird and a verse from Sho Baraka, adding depth and perspective to a record focused on covenant, longevity, and shared purpose. Rather than chasing trends, “Better Half” celebrates marriage as something worth honoring, protecting, and nurturing.

“Better Half” is one of thirteen tracks on Dre’ Jamal’s project Epic, available now on streaming platforms. As a Kingdom Spotlight, the song reflects Dre’ Jamal’s long-standing commitment to Christ-centered hip hop that speaks directly to real life, real relationships, and real faith.
