WEST PALM BEACH, FL – Eddy Puyol steps back into soul singer mode for “To the Moon” – a vibey song built for cruising down the boulevard with your loved one by your side.

The track mixes both machine and analog instrumentation with lyrics that allow listeners to float in that wonderful dream state that accompanies a rich relationship.

“I’m just in a happy place in life and love has exploded in my heart once again,” Puyol said about the lyrics he penned while driving home from church on Valentine’s Day.

The music for “To the Moon” was inspired by a trap beat supplied by recently-departed producer Kyle “Xplicit Truth” Wishon. Seeking a more organic feel for the record, Puyol enlisted longtime collaborator Chuck Hemann to evolve its sound with live instruments and a throwback essence.

“What we ended up with was magic,” Puyol said. “I think ‘To the Moon’ would fit perfectly on radio stations or playlists beside hits from Silk Sonic [Bruno Mars + Anderson .Paak], Drake or Justin Timberlake.”

For visuals, Puyol once again connected with iAMbayo.net for a lyric video that captures the “love letter” feel of the song. The clip ends with a photo from Eddy’s parents’ first year of marriage – a feature made even more special by the track’s release date (September 3) which happens to be their 45th wedding anniversary.
