iNTELLECT and Procyse Look Through The Eyes of a Broken World With Their New Single “I’m So…”
iNTELLECT and Procyse are teaming up to rework their EP ‘Art of Grace’ and have dropped the first single “I’m So…”. The song features TC.
Toledo, OH & Denver, CO – “When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with the humble is wisdom – Proverbs 11:2”.
Man may be God’s greatest creation, but at the same time the most foolish. It seems that society is determined to prove that we are smarter than God.
We’ve gone so far as to pervert the things that are beautiful, to drape that which is lovely in a covering of shame. “…Your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”
Christian rap artists iNTELLECT (Ohio) and Procyse (Colorado) are no strangers when it comes to collaborating on records. The duo have teamed up on several releases including 2021’s joint EP ‘The Art of Grace’. “I’m So…” is the first offering off of the reworked version of the project that features Florida’s TC.
“Procyse and I really wanted to revisit ‘The Art of Grace’ EP and revamp it,” explained iNTELLECT. “We wanted to give it a totally fresh sound that reflects the direction that we are heading in as we continue to collaborate.
We plan to re-release the EP soon.” Available on digital music retailers beginning November 4, 2022, the new version of “I’m So…” showcases high-level lyricsim and expertly crafted cadences.
The boom bap drum pattern is accentuated by subtle strings and complimentary samples. It is a perfect bridge between golden era hip hop and modern era approach.
“I’m So…” is a record that will connect with a wide-range of hip hop audiophiles.
About iNTELLECT
With a distinct flow, iNTELLECT has used his gift to spread the message of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ to areas throughout the Midwest. Drawing his inspiration from the Gospel and life experience, iNTELLECT combines biblically sound doctrine with hip hop beats. “Being that I grew up in a home with a Christian mother and an alcoholic father, my mother has been one of the most influential persons in my life.
I watched how she constantly prayed for my father (who eventually came to salvation before his death) and I became a firsthand witness on how faith and prayer can change the direst of situations. I watched how she studied the Word of God and how she passionately lived the Christian life while I was growing up. Even though at times I had strayed away from the path, she always told me that God had a plan for my life.
Her influence has helped me see the importance of not only living a life of integrity but also to present myself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth (2 Tim. 2:15).
