JIMMY ROCK Remixes Thomas Iannucci’s Island Jam “Rage” Featuring Rock Legend Sonny Sandoval (P.O.D.)
One of Christian music’s best and on the rise DJ’s, JIMMY ROCK, joined forces with 2020 Rapzilla Freshmen and 2x Hawaiian Grammy winner Thomas Iannucci for the “Rage (Remix).”
This remix will have you prepared for the summer AND, features the legendary 30-year-vocalist of P.O.D. Sonny Sandoval.
JIMMY ROCK brings his signature EDM / Dance flavor for the remix of this track and it really adds another layer to the original production laid out by production team The Brewz.
“I am really excited about this new remix! As a fan of P.O.D. for many years and having Thomas as a friend of mine, it’s sort of a dream come true! I love how the final product turned out. It’s kind of Reggae, kind of Latin sounding, kind of Tropical House music all mixed into one,” the DJ stated. “If you’ve ever wondered what it would sound like when a Hawaiian rapper, a Metal rockstar, and an EDM DJ collaborate on a track together, you get ‘RAGE’! I’m looking forward to playing this at festivals and pool parties all summer!”
Iannucci had a very successful year, picking up his second Island Grammy, and making the coveted Freshmen list that highlights the best Christian hip-hop artists in the space. “Rage” was the cherry on top, as he got to work with one of his musical heroes and family friends, Sonny. “Having Jimmy remix ‘Rage’ was a no-brainer. Sonny, the Brewz, and I wanted to do something dope with the track to give it a second wind, and when Jimmy approached us about remixing ‘Rage’, we knew it was meant to be,” said the rapper. “He’s got a long history of reimagining tracks in creative and fire ways, and the ‘Rage’ remix is no exception.
