🔥 About the Track
Detroit, MI – “Consider it great joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you experience various trials, because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its full effect, so that you may be mature and complete, lacking nothing.” [James 1:2-4]
Apply Pressure is More Than a Song, It’s a Mindset.
“When we’re being put in the fire, we’re applying pressure on the enemy. Whether you’re in a gym, a game, or a spiritual battle, this anthem reminds you to keep pushing, keep praying, and keep believing God.” – Kemara Lynn
Hailing from the ‘Motor City’ of Detroit, Michigan, Kemara Lynn began a movement with her 2024 breakout single, “iBelieve.”
Known as “The Rapper That Believes,” Kemara empowers communities with messages of resilience and faith in action. Her music has been featured across radio and television, even catching the attention of NBA player Jonathan Isaac. Now, Kemara Lynn is teaming up with fellow Detroit artist DKG KIE to deliver a high-energy anthem that encourages listeners to “finish strong.”
Releasing across digital streaming platforms on November 28, 2025, Kemara’s new record, Apply Pressure, is set to send off 2025 with a bang!
Produced by DaveGotBeats, Apply Pressure is a whirlwind of confidence and reassurance in what God instills in those who put their faith in Him. The record’s blend of lyrical grit and spiritual fire captures Kemara’s signature message — faith isn’t passive, it’s active, fierce, and relentless.
In addition to dropping the single on streaming platforms, an official music video for Apply Pressure is set to debut, alongside the release, on Kemara Lynn’s YouTube channel. You can subscribe to the channel and join the visual’s premiere at https://www.youtube.com/@kemaralynn.

Coming from Detroit, Michigan, the Christian hip-hop lyricist and performer is boldly known as *“The Rapper That Believes.”* With an unshakable mission to merge faith and authenticity, she’s quickly emerging as one of the most compelling new voices in inspirational rap. Overcoming rejection, depression, bullying, and the pressures the world placed on her.
Her performances radiate the same energy that defines her lyrics: bold, grounded, and God-driven. Having shared the stage with gospel icon Fred Hammond, Kemara has proven she can bridge the gap between church audiences and hip-hop culture — bringing a fresh voice to both. With every song, Kemara Lynn continues to prove that hip-hop can heal, faith can fuel, and pressure can produce greatness. It’s more than music, it’s a movement… the rapper that believes.
