Detroit-based Christian rap artist Marqus Anthony, in collaboration with producer Ira Dos, is excited to release the deluxe edition of their acclaimed EP Metropolis Nights.

Originally a six-track project that combined Detroit’s unique sound with a strong faith-based message, the deluxe version expands on these themes, bringing more music, deeper messages, and an even greater spotlight on Detroit’s influence.

The album is a powerful tribute to the resilience, spirituality, and community that define both Detroit and Marqus’s personal journey.

A Look Back at “Metropolis Nights”:

Metropolis Nights began as a collaborative project between Marqus Anthony, known for his thought-provoking lyrics and impactful flow, and Ira Dos, a producer whose mastery in blending bass-heavy beats with smooth melodies has made him a key player in Detroit’s music scene.

The original EP wasn’t just music; it was a reflection of Detroit’s cultural depth and a testament to Marqus’s Christian faith.

Every track on the original EP featured Detroit-based artists, lending the project an authentic, local flavor that connected with audiences. Through both the music and the lyrics, Marqus and Ira Dos delivered a project that encouraged listeners to reflect on their faith, while also appreciating the grit and perseverance that make Detroit unique.

The Deluxe Edition: A Deeper Exploration of Faith and Resilience:

With the release of the deluxe edition, Metropolis Nights takes fans even further on this journey of faith and self-discovery. Marqus’s personal story of transformation — from atheism to Christianity — is woven throughout the album, using music as a platform to share the hope, gratitude, and renewal he has found in faith.

Each new track is crafted to inspire, uplift, and encourage resilience, with Ira Dos’s production capturing the essence of Detroit’s hip-hop sound.

Focus Track: “Coming Back”:

The deluxe edition kicks off with the high-energy track “Coming Back”, which sets the tone for the entire album. This song doesn’t just start the album; it announces it with intensity.

The beat hits hard, grabbing listeners’ attention right from the first note, while Marqus’s charismatic delivery brings unmatched energy. His verses flow with confidence as he proclaims his faith and the powerful message that “Jesus is COMING BACK!”

The track demands a response — it’s impossible not to nod your head and feel the conviction in every word.

“Coming Back” serves as the perfect entry point to a project rooted in faith, passion, and Detroit’s signature sound.

The deluxe edition album cover, featuring an eye symbol, represents “God’s Providence” rather than the misunderstood Illuminati symbol. This eye symbolizes God’s ever-watchful presence and protection over Detroit, highlighting the album’s spiritual focus.

For Marqus, Metropolis Nights is not just an album; it’s a testimony to God’s constant guidance and the strength he’s found through his faith.
