Procyse and Dave A. announce “Unapologetic,” a bold, gospel-centered album that doesn’t shy away from the hard truths. With contributions from notable Christian hip-hop artists and producers, this is a must-hear release for 2025.
Procyse and Dave A. Announce Highly Anticipated Joint Project:
Source FiveTwenty:
Denver, CO; Los Angeles, CA – “But even if you should suffer for righteousness, you are blessed. Do not fear them, or be intimidated, but in your hearts regard Christ the Lord as holy, ready at any time to give a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you. Yet do this with gentleness and reverence, keeping a clear conscience, so that when you are accused, those who disparage your good conduct in Christ will be put to shame.” [1 Peter 3:14-16]
We are not to be ashamed of the Gospel. We are charged with proclaiming it without reservation as it is the only hope for mankind. Even when the world may scoff; even when our very safety may be threatened; even in the face of the enemy we are to be Unapologetic.
“We came together to speak on topics some are too afraid to speak on and how our trust should be placed solely in The Lord!” – Procyse
Too many people put their hope in false idols that will never last.
On January 10, 2025, Procyse (Colorado) and Dave A. (California) pull zero punches when it comes to delivering the message of the Gospel.
Unapologetic is one of the most anticipated early releases of 2025 within the faith-based hip-hop scene. With the buzz of the singles, “You’re Not Free” and “Round and Round” in late 2024, Procyse and Dave A. have already proven to fans the high-level music the duo is capable of.
Remaining true to their boom-bap roots, Unapologetic builds on the rich history of the hip-hop genre and infuses its captivating elements with the truth of the saving grace of Jesus Christ. Alongside Procyse and Dave A. on the project are Christian hip-hop standouts MotionPlus, HIS Hypeman Stract, Rich Colón, and Kimba. Longtime Polished Arrow Music collaborator F-Plus took on most of the project’s production duties in addition to QuinceyTones, who produced two records.
Overall, Unapologetic is more than a rap project for listeners to enjoy. It is a call to action to make the change you want to see. Pro and Dave A. encourage anyone who listens to be bold in addressing issues many turn a blind eye to.
