Detroit, MI – “Return to your rest, my soul, for the Lord has been good to you.” [Psalms 116:7]
Taking time to relax and reenergize is important, so much so that God set the example by resting after a week of creation. We work hard each day to support our families, to share the Gospel, and to show love to our friends, we need to allow time to take care of ourselves as well. While that relaxation can take many forms, you can join us for a good time as we hang out Lakeside.
“I wanted to shift gears on this single and create a fun, easygoing, summertime song that people could listen to and it still points them to God’s goodness.” – Rich Colón
Lakeside is a song for friends and family to enjoy that upholds seeking God and being thankful for his blessings.
Available now across digital streaming platforms, Polished Arrow Music’s Rich Colón showcases a laidback side to his artistry with his summer anthem.
Lakeside brings all of the best elements of a weekend hangout on the water, turning them into an engaging and motivating sonic experience. Colón’s bravado-heavy vocals play off the electric guitar melodies and hard-hitting bass line with an organic feel. The Detroit emcee takes listeners from wherever they may be and plants their toes down in the sand as they enjoy God’s creation.
Lakeside is the perfect addition to your summer vibes playlist. Add it now on your favorite music streaming service.

About Rich Colón
Rich Colón is an emcee who values the art of being an emcee. His formula is simple – dope beats and well-crafted lyrics that pull no punches.
While Rich’s delivery is reminiscent of hip-hop’s sharpest, like Black Thought, Big Pun, Nas, or Vinnie Paz, his content is infused with a deeper spiritual dialogue that pulls influences from thinkers like C.S. Lewis and Justo Gonzalez.
