🔥 About the Track
Samuel Picou new single Summer Time is more than just a seasonal vibe—it’s a mission. Released today, this Christ-centered anthem challenges believers to stay on fire for God during the summer months, not fall into distractions. Whether you’re hitting the beach or grinding through your calling, this track will lift your spirit and lock you back into Kingdom focus.
About the Song “Summer Time”:
“Summer Time” carries a joyful yet convicting message: the work of the Lord doesn’t take a vacation. With smooth melodies and sermon-style lyricism, Samuel Picou blends faith and fire in one package. The production is breezy but bold, a perfect match for his directive to stay committed while others may drift.
“This is a song that encourages believers to continue to do God‘s will in the summer—to work hard and serve Him,” says Pastor Samuel.
From pool parties to prayer closets, the song reminds you that your purpose still matters—even when the sun is out.
Inspiration Behind the Song:
As a pastor in LA and a former contestant on The Voice, Samuel Picou has seen both stages and sanctuaries. That dual experience pours into this single, which was born from watching believers slip into summer slump mode.
Instead, Summer Time is a rallying cry. Samuel wants listeners to enjoy the season but not forget the mission.
What Makes It Unique?:
Unlike typical summer tracks that chase trends, “Summer Time” chases truth. The lyrics point back to God’s call, echoing scriptures like Colossians 3:23:
“Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.”
This is Christian rap for the seasoned and the seeking—with a West Coast bounce and a Kingdom backbone.
