Mitch Darrell is a young and upcoming rapper and singer from Indian Trail North Carolina. He spits rap with a dope flow and conscious lyrics in an attempt to educate and inform.
The Christian hip-hop artist sometimes known as either Selah or the Corner was born Nathaniel Martinez and grew up in Yonkers, New York. Driven equally by his faith and a love of hip-hop, Selah took inspiration from biblical scriptures when forming his mission of spreading the Christian gospel as well as a message of interpersonal love and ethical treatment of all people.
His first mixtape, Hoodie Season, arrived in 2013 and was followed by Hoodie Season 2 the next year. By this time he had joined forces with the Christian rap label God Over Money, who worked with Selah on developing his debut album. That debut, Memoirs of a Perfect World, dropped in the summer of 2017 to much acclaim. ~ Fred Thomas
