🔥 About the Track
Vic Lucas new song “Let It Rain” brings a heartfelt and cinematic reimagining of the timeless Michael W. Smith anthem. Joined by gospel powerhouse Ashleey Barnes (BET’s Sunday Best, 2019) and rising talent Essence Natay, the track layers soulful worship with African-inspired rhythms that make it feel both classic and new.
“Let It Rain” isn’t just a cover—it’s a cry for renewal. The song was born out of a season when Vic Lucas stepped away from music, wrestling with failure and shame. Through that struggle came a reminder that failure isn’t final, and that every storm can become a space for grace.
The combination of soaring vocals, cinematic production, and a cross-cultural sound makes “Let It Rain” a standout moment of revival. It reflects the heart of Vic’s upcoming album, The Journey—a testimony that redemption and renewal often start in the rain.
